I-GAME was an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) and mission Training simulator built by IPKeys, using Unreal 3 and 4.

It was built with a dual mode for trainers, to create missions with varied environments, props, vehicles and weapons, and as a scenario trainer for the trainer's class. I-GAME was successfully deployed in training facilities in the USA military.

My role for I-GAME was Senior Level Designer. I was primarily responsible for:

It was imperative that environments were realistic and also provided varied scenarios for every training need. Roads, rivers, drainage pipes, walkways, fences, caves etc. all needed to be provided to give trainers flexibility in training to detect hidden and buried explosives.

I built a pipeline for using procedurally generated terrain from 'World Machine' to give environments a realistic photoreal look, and combined this with the need for a training environment with a more traditional 'themepark' design.
