Frontlines: Fuel of War was a military FPS with hybrid infantry and vehicle combat, developed by Kaos Studios and published by THQ in 2008. Frontlines used a heavily modified Unreal 3 engine.
My role was Senior Level Designer, working on roughly a quarter of the maps in the game, both single player and multiplayer. I was primarily responsible for:
- Single Player Levels, Scenario Design, Construction:
- 01 - Darkness Falls, 03 - Anvil, 04 - Graveyard, 06 - Living Quarter, MP GNAW
- AI mission scripting using 'kismet' node based editor.
- Multiplayer prototyping of gamemodes, and game mechanics in maps.
